  11. SUPPORTED HARDWARE

  14. This driver was developped to make the new Iris protocol being used into 
  15. BRLTTY. This is a really specific stuff for now, it is designed to 
  16. allow someone to put a Lioux distribution into his/her Iris. 
  17.  
  18. WARNING!!!!!! :
  19.     You're __NOT ENCOURAGED__ to put a Linux distribution into your Iris
  20. for several reasons :
  21.     * Neither me, nor EuroBRAILLE sa, are responsible for all things that 
  22.       could happen to your flash card, usb key, or any other device;
  23.     * There is no user interface for now, do not expect to find the same
  24.       interface as you find into the official Iris software.
  25.     * And to conclude, this is ALPHA STAGE, so it may contain bugs,
  26.       can crash your system...

  29. FIXES/ADDITIONS
  30. ===============
  31. Version 0.3:
  32.     - Rewritten IO stuff, to be compatible with the HAVE_KEYCODES stuff;
  33.       This was done to make the "pcb" application usable.
  34.     - Partially debug some keypress bugs, not perfect yet. 
  35.       Please Do NOT USE the Level keys (Level 1 to 4).

  37. Version 0.2:
  38.     - Combined keys works for linear keyboards.
  39.     - LCD Display support (for IRIS 20/40).

  41. Version 0.1:
  42.     - Initial release;
  43.     - Braille keyboard and cursor routing works, commands are only 
  44.       ''one key at a time''.

  46. Comments are strongly welcomed, because I don't know how many people use the 
  47. EuroBraille version of BRLTTY in the world so if you use this driver, just 
  48. e-mail me what are your suggestions for next versions.
